James Elliot FCAJames Elliot set up Elliot and Co in 1995 after having moved to Weymouth in 1991. He has been a Chartered Accountant for over 20 years and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). He qualified as an accounting technician in June 2003 and then went onto University where he started training to be a Chartered Accountant. 4 years and 12 exams later he qualified as a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). At 30 years old, Mark is a relatively young account who has built up a sound knowledge of accounting procedures from his academic studies and many years employment with the company. Mark is a local man, having lived on Portland all of his life. He feels this helps him advise his clients from both a personal and accounting point of view and therefore giving them the best possible service.
